FUN-ish Jun 20, 2010 The game is really fun to play and is challenging, but I get bored of it after a while. After not playing for a while, however, I get the urge to play again. I like the tunes the game has and weird graphics. Overall its a nice game to have on hand when you find yourself in a waiting room.
Rhythm Heaven, Nintendo DSi Jun 08, 2010 Rhythm Heaven is very much like Guitar Hero, except with more creativity and replay value. The game is played by turning your Nintendo DSi unit horizantally and flicking the touch screen interface with your "good" stylus. I very much prefer using my Dialga Stylus; that pocket monster rules Sable's dreamland anyday. The control is quite unique: notes are played by writing a "quick checkmark" in tune with la música. There is a HUGE variety of songs, some more fun than others. The practice mode tunes especially left my brother feeling low. They are bitter sweet, but when typical gamers think of a training session, they think of an uplifting environment. A boring alternative weakens the practice spirit, which in turn slams players when they start matchoffs for real. That said, Rhythm Heaven is difficult to lay a finger on. It is a creative piece of artistry with some of the brightest colors in a video game since Atari Jaguar's Rayman. May it be too much? Yes, but too many colors are better than a bland medium with weakened paintjobs. When you start a matchoff, a song plays and you flick to its rhythm with wrist's strength. It is a pleasure to endure hours of gameplay just FOR the music. It is quite intuitive, and dear could do no crime from that. Nonetheless, some mini-games are also present to reward our festful eyes, including those from the "endless games" link under menu options. Not entirely necessary, but it is a Domino's Pizza I ain't allergic to. Boy, that says alot! Fun is nowhere to be hidden here, and that "Love Lab" squarefest left me with an enlightened perception of chemistry. Obvious as it is for Nintendo fanboys to know: work with a girl, and you will get some. Rather disgusting, would not say anything else off-limit. In the end, Rhythm Heaven proved to be an innocent title at Nintendo DSi launch, and is well amongst the best music games ever conceived.
It's Addictive! Apr 21, 2010 My daughter downloaded the sample through the Wii onto her Nintendo DS. She enjoyed it so much that we just had to buy her the extended version.
Funnest DS Game we have Apr 17, 2010 This is the funnest game that we have for our DSi. I love it and my 5 year old loves it too! It's definitely family friendly. Really fun, challenging rhythm games with funny graphics. I highly recommend this one to anyone with a DS.
One of the best rhythm games available! Apr 01, 2010 If you enjoy music at all (as most people do) you need to treat yourself to this game.
The game challenges your rhythm by way of different mini-games. These games are very imaginative, building a robot, kicking barrels or playing ping pong, set to some truly fun music. Music so good that I find myself humming the tunes when I'm not playing and even though I've finished the game, sometimes I'll pick it up just to play and hear one of my favorites! Trust me, the catchy pop tunes are a joy.
The graphics are fun, with a lots of variety and bright colors.
While there are a few frustratingly hard games (the drum battle...grr), with practice one can still get through them.
This is all about rhythm, so much so that I found myself ablt to play some of the games with my eyes closed relying on the beat alone.
Highly recommended game!
