5An Amazon Find  Jul 28, 2010
When I was purchasing Picross 3D I came across this suggestion and checked it out. I'm glad I did! I won't reiterate all the games it has, except to say that my favorite is the Link-A-Pix, which I have never even seen before. I would buy a game with just Link-A-Pix on it -- it's logical and I love it.

The only two downsides are that it is highly addictive, and that I gave it to my friend to try and she doesn't want to give it back!

Fun games, but I don't feel like you get as many options as you should. I wanted this game for hangman, but you have to get through crossword puzzles before you can get to the hangman ones.

4Better than some reviewers may have you think...  Jul 18, 2010
Before I got this game, I read through the reviews and found that some (specifically two star reviews) were completely incorrect.
First of all, this game tells you exactly how to play the puzzles. When you've got a puzzle solved, it is obvious that you have, because a big green check mark shows up and it says something like Correct! or Completed! Only if your solution is incorrect, it doesn't show anything.
The puzzles seem to have a British origin - some words are used in England for things which we use different words for here. No big deal.
I found the picture chart with the numbers to be the most entertaining and sometimes challenging.
Many of the puzzles are pretty easy, but there is a good enough mix that makes it fun. If you go through the levels in turn, you will get a wide range of puzzles to do. You can also just scroll through and do whichever puzzles you like best.
Puzzles include find-a-word, crossword, fill-ins, Sudoku, picture with the chart, sillhouette puzzles, codewords.
Bonus puzzles (you get these when you've completed the regular puzzle) include Find the Difference, Hangman, a puzzle where you unscramble words, and others.
You can get hints using hint coins. After you finish a puzzle, you get to choose one of three prizes. One prize is ten hint coins, another is five, and the third is a letter from the word Puzzle. When you find all the letters, you get a bonus 100 hint coins. You use hint coins to "buy" hints. Three types of hints, each more expensive than the last. I haven't yet run out of hint coins; in fact, I think I'm about near 900 of them.
All in all, it's a good game that is fun to relax with after a difficult day.

5Lives up to its name!  Jul 12, 2010
So many puzzles to play with hours and hours of enjoyment for a puzzle lover. The games have been listed in several reviews, so I won't do that in mine, but this game is great fun.

Some things I like:

There are hundreds of puzzles and each has bonus puzzle to go with it.

You collect tokens for completing puzzles in the Challenge Mode which can be used to "buy" hints when you get stuck (I don't think the bonus puzzles have hints at all, but you still get tokens upon completion). The bigger the hint you need the more tokens it costs.

To get tokens you choose between three boxes. You get 5 or 10 tokens or a letter which eventually will spell out "Puzzler" at the top of the screen for which you get a jackpot of 100 tokens!

You can play games in Quickplay Mode as well if you have a favorite puzzle you want to play.

Sometimes game designers give no attention to the graphics on puzzle games, using really dated formats. These seemed to be crisp, clear and a bit modern.

My favorite game is Link-A-Pix, which is a challenge to learn, but worth the time and effort. It's like a extreme version of Minesweeper, with color and a higher difficulty level. Lots of fun though.

My least favorite game is Codeword. I seriously despise that one. It's a crossword grid where you have to figure out letters which correspond to numbers to make words. I'm a competant puzzler player, but no a code cracker. :)

If you love puzzle games this one is worthing picking up>

4Puzzler World  Jul 11, 2010
Watch out this is an addiction game. I have never had time to sit and play .I have not play many games over the past 20 years. Grew up with Pac man and such. My children bought me the DSI XL and a few games. Bejeweled, Mario Bros. and this one. I have only played the Bejeweled a few times, Mario never, I just want this game. All the games are great, I dont like code word but that is probably becuase I dont care for crosswords. I need games that tend to be quick because my day is full but I find I am playing more at night. Love the Sodoku which has surprised me becuase I did not like this at first but now I am hooked and the wordserch is great as well. I play with my grandaughter who is seven, she has leard Sodoku as well and she is getting hooked. We have to play one game at a time because we both love it so I have now bought her her own game. Recommend, but beware you wont want to put it down.
