4Pokemon Diamond DS  Jul 11, 2010
this game is pretty good even though im not really into all the new pokemon. still had fun playing it. probably one of the better games for DS out there.

4The kids love it  Jul 04, 2010
The kids (7 years old) love it ... I don't. But I guess that's not the point. If you want something to get them out of your hair this game is good. If you want something to share and enjoy together ... good luck ... I don't know your tastes.

5Pokemon Diamond game rules!  Jun 26, 2010
I really reccommend this game to all Pokemon lovers. You wander around with your pokemon. The starters are Piplup, Turtwig and Chimchar. You can only pick one. there are 8 gyms like all the others but new HM's! I enjoyed this game the whole way through and caught all the legendaries but 1. Nowhere does it give you a hint. :(
The elite four isn't that hard. I love the new migrating system! That is how I got my Lugia level 100, Blaziken level 100 and Kyogre level 100. I got stuck once in the second city but I didn't know you could hop over the ledges in the cave. If you are thinking about getting it. You NEED, NEED, NEED IT!

3Not a Diamond in the Rough  May 07, 2010
Compared to the other Pokemon games in the series, I feel that Diamond and Pearl are relatively lack-luster.
This group in the series does introduce several new features to the Pokemon Universe (namely online battling and trading), and the storyline at least attempts to be epic. But the selection of Pokemon available to the trainer is relatively limited unless they're willing to put in a lot of extra effort in not only this game and the ones preceding, but other non-traditional Pokemon Games.

The bulk of the Pokemon encountered in tall grass consist of perhaps a handful of common Pokemon that become extremely annoying (Starly and Geodude are probably the most notable.)
And encountering other pokemon in-game practically requires a schedule to remember what pokemon are available when, and in what zone.
My biggest disappointment is that a lot of Pokemon can only be obtained AFTER beating the Elite Four, by swarm, GBA cartridge transfer, or GBA cartridge insertion. You essentially have to act as a Pokemon Breeder to get Pokemon to learn certain moves, as well.

It's simply too much of a headache to bother with trying to get any of your favorite pokemon in Diamond and Pearl without Heart Gold/Soul Silver. It often takes too much time, too many other games, and too much breeding to be worth it.

5Never go wrong with Pokemon  Dec 16, 2009
Entertaining for hours. Requires you pay attention and develop strategies to move to the next level. High cool factor
