Put a puppy inside your Nintendo DS! In this game choose from
Chihuahua, German Shepherd, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
Yorkshire Terrier or Shetland Sheepdog.
Players care for and train their puppy by petting it, walking it and
buying it supplies to play with. As a puppy competes in obedience
and agility trials, owners can win money to purchase other puppy
breeds.
Players can socialize their pups by walking them around the town,
where they will meet neighborhood dogs, and maybe even find new
toys. Trips to the park and gym offer valuable training time to
prepare for agility trials and disc competitions. Over time, the
pups stamina will increase so players can explore farther and
farther. Players also can interact wirelessly with their friends
Nintendogs -- they can set their DS to bark whenever another puppy
is within wireless range.
Nintendogs lets you pick a puppy from a variety of breeds available
at the beginning of the game. As you start spending time with your
pup you can throw flying discs and balls to improve the pups
agility. You can bathe it when it gets dirty and use your own
personal voice commands to train the dog to do tricks. If you train
it well enough, your dog will excel in obedience and agility trials
and disc competitions, which will earn money that you can use to
buy other supplies and puppy breeds. When you earn enough cash, you
can buy even more puppies to live with their original pup. Players
can socialize their pups by walking them around the town, where
they will meet neighborhood dogs, and maybe even find new toys.

Hello, I am a 10 year old girl and I love this game! It's not too hard and its not too easy and it's great. You can get up to 8 puppies. You can name them and teach them tricks. You can go on walks to get to the gym center and once you get there you can train to enter agility trial contests. You can also enter obedience trials and frisbee contests. My favorite is agility. When you go on walks you can go to shops and the park where you can meet other dogs and get prizes. To connect with friends, go on barkmode. The type of the that your friend has will then become available in the pet shop and you will get a copy of their profile. You can keep 3 dogs in your updatable house at a time so you will need to keep 6 in the dog hotel. You can buy cute accessories for your dog, too. It's a little bit repetive but you will want to play it again and again! I recomend you buy this because so far it is the best dog game I have seen!

My 12 yr. old daughter purchased the game and this is what she says about it, "I like Nintendogs but, sometimes you're stuck doing the same things over again. For example, if you don't have a lot of money to go and do stuff with the dog, you end up only being able to feed it and play with it. But, overall, I enjoy the game."

My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this game. She can't put it down. She already taught "swetty"(that's what she named him) 4 tricks. I would recommend this game to anyone girl or boy. I'm probably going to buy me one for my dsi

I am sorry to say, we had great expectations for this game, as we are chihuahua owners and thought it would be really cute. My daughter, 7, was very disappointed. She dosen't play the game at all. She says the game only lets her teach the dog her name, and that is it. For us, it was a complete waste of cash.

I bought this game for my 6 year old sister and she has a lot of fun playing it. The dogs are super cute. It teaches her about saving money and spending it on things the puppy needs. It has voice commands and if you say the dog's name enough times, it learns its' name!
