 Too big for DSI Touch Screen Jan 29, 2010

I purchased a set of these from BargainCell. When I first installed a set on my new DSI, I found that the protector for the lower screen (the touch screen) was a little bit too long to fit correctly. I was able to get it to adhere to the screen, but that caused the touch screen to no longer function. Since I received 3 sets, I tried a 2nd set and installed it on my older DSI. I had the same problem with this one. I then tried trimming off 1/16" from the length. This allowed it to install correctly and the screen was functional. So, if you are only paying $4-5 for a set of three and take the time to trim them, it is not a bad purchase, but beware of installing them if they are too long. This makes them VERY hard to remove and leaves the touch screen inoperative.

Bought two packs because of the second review. I needed something for my two DSIs I bought for my kids. Just as she said, it does not fit and you need to trim a little off the side of the bottom screen protector. If you jam it in there it will leave your touchscreen useless. Otherwise, it does it's job.

It definitely protects the screen of your DSI. However, if it's not placed right on the screen itself, you'll a hard time trying to get rid of bubbles upon application.

This is a 3 pack, so you get to practice with the first two.This screen protectors are not the same size as the screen size of your dsi.Before aplying to dsi lay screen protectors over each screen to see how much you have to trim off first.After that they aply easily to screen,havent had any problems with them after that.

i guess the old saying is true: you get what you paid for. this product did not worked from the get go. after sticking the filter to the DSi screens, they screen became dull and did not react to the command given by the stylist. Took them off and send them to garbage can.
