BEST GAME EVER!!! Jul 04, 2010 This is the best game ever! It is the one I play the most. Me and my little sister argue over it sometimes! :) (I'm not kidding) (we do!) I have a ton of games and this is my favorite! I am eleven years old and I LOVE Star Wars! This is the best game ever. P.S. Even my friends love it!
Great DS game! Jul 02, 2010 I'm a huge fan of LEGO video games, having played almost every title on PS2. The Star Wars games are a particular favorite of mine, so I bought this game for my DS to see how it compares. While it is somewhat simpler than the PS2 format (shorter and fewer levels per chapter), it is still a widely entertaining and challenging game. The graphics are great, and game play is smooth; I've only encountered a couple glitches so far, but they were pretty minor. The touch screen mini-games are a fun addition to this version, and can sometimes be more challenging than the story or free play levels! While I still prefer LEGO games on larger systems, this is a fun way to pass the time, and I can see myself replaying it often when traveling.
Complete Saga Apr 17, 2010 I'm not a die hard gamer, but I do own several systems NES, PlayStation that type of thing. This game is not as near as fun as Return of the Jedi for the Super Nintendo or the Pod Race game for 64. I'm captivated by games like Pac Man and Space Invaders 2. So, for people who like higher graphics and slower RPG games this is probably their type of game. Not so fun for people who require continuous action. I like we can use the Force with their stylus/fingers. Maybe this game would be more fun for me if I played it on the Wii and not the DS. Sometimes certain elements get lost in the transition of systems. So, I'll give it another chance when I get it for the Wii sometime...
The nice feature is the easy switch between lego characters. Some games one has to stop and switch through a menu. All one does is communicate with the touch of a button. So, that is a perk. When I got bored playing; I would drop the characters off the side and watch them break apart. As I said, kind of slow as you make it.

Overall an Enjoyable Game Apr 15, 2010 Before you read this I just want you to know that even though this is a lego game this review is coming from a 12 year old girl.
I just purchased a nintendo ds and this is the first game I got. As far as the tecnology goes the graphics are crisp and clear and it is really easy to see what your character is doing. The controls are fairly easy and they explain them to you at the beginning of the game and later on you can buy hints at the "store". The only problem with how the game was made is that it is made so that a second character follows you around all the time so they sometimes get in your way when you are fighting or trying to collect studs(money) and sometimes thay get stuckand you have to come back for them.
One thing I like about this game is that all the characters are made out of legos and so when you get killed there is no blood and guts and they don't make you start the game over. You just get right back up and keep playing.I like this game unlike some of the other star wars games you can get because it is all the episodes so the game lasts longer.
The game keeps your attention pretty well. All the missions are a little different and sometimes you get to do special missions like "jet" racing which is really cool on the double screen. You can also unlock mini games and different characters and extras so thats cool and makes the game more fun. It is also easy to get money unlike some other games because all you have to do is smash things like bushes and tres to get money to fil your bar and unlock new stuff. The only drawback with the story is that the game can get a little repetitive because alot of the missions are simply walking through different buildings killing things and collecting money but I still enjoy it because even if you are doing kind of the same thing alot thay usually have parts in the missions where you have to figure out a puzzle or sometimes you have to build or rearrange things to continue but these arn't to hard to figure out and thay make the game more interesting.
I would reccomend this game for anyone who enjoys starwars and who doesn't require extremely complex entertainment. It is really similar to the gamecube version. All in all I am glad I picked this for my first game.
Great game for my 2 kids (6 and 9) Mar 04, 2010 Both have not seen the Star Wars movies themselves, but completely love this game... I usually help at certain points in the game, but what's great is that there are unlimited lives, so the kids can keep continuing without being sent back to the beginning of a level.
