My 2.5 yr old daughter had seen this commercial, and asked for it every day :O) So we got it for her to play on her sisters DS. OMG! It is Perfect! She can play it so well by herself after a day of playing with me. I'm amazed at how age appropriate this is. I've tried other kids games, such as Vtech and online toddler games, and nothing was easy enough for her to just sit and play by herself. I can do dishes, make dinner, or whatever i need to do, and she will just sit at the table and play her game and have such a good time. She will sit and say "Perito.. I love you!!!" its the cutest thing ever. I'm so glad they made this!!!! I have one happy toddler :O)
Ps. There is lots for them to do. They go shopping for clothes..and get to dress puppy. They have a little sticker book... they can give baths... feed and give water to puppy. Much excitement for a toddler :O)

my daughter is 3 and she loves this game. Her favorite part of the game is were you can buy stuff for your dog. she loves to buy clothes and dress her puppy or buy toys for it. Even i found it interesting! Older kids may not like it quite as much but my 9yr old neice did play with it for a while.

This was one of my 6 year old's first games and not only does she enjoy it but so does my 3 year old daughter! I didn't think that my 3 year old would even be able to play anything on the DS without help but she picked this game up almost immediately. It requires no reading so it is a great game for younger kids!

My 3 1/2 year old just got her first DS and this is her first game. It is super easy for her and she doesn't need any help. There is no reading involved. It is very hard to find games for the 3-4 year old range that they can play on their own. There are mini-games to play (blowing bubbles based upon shape, playing fetch, etc...) and also a part where you wash the puppy and feed the puppy. I would recommend this game for as young as 2 1/2 but probably not older than 5.

I bought the Dora Puppy game for my 3 year old to play on her older sister's DS. This was her first DS game and she loves it. She loves the feature where Dora tells you to yell at your dog into the microphone "Bring it back boy!!" The game holds her interest for a long time. Great for car rides!
My 7 year old plays the game too but she says it's just to get her sister more coins. When I know she actually likes the game but won't admit it because Dora is too baby-ish for her. I recommend this game if you are looking for a great game for your toddler/preschooler.
