Two boys' review: This sequel misses the original's magic Nov 13, 2008
By Jared Castle My two sons -- ages 6 and 4 -- are fans of Ben 10 (my oldest even dressed up in a Ben 10 costume this past Halloween!) They gave a 5-star review to the previous Nintendo DS game, Ben 10 Protector of the Earth.
This game, despite the large number of new characters and an equally dazzling amount of sound effects straight from the cartoon, only gets four stars.
Pros:
* Many of Ben 10s new alien forms are available for you to choose to play.
* The gameplay is easier than that of Ben 10 Protector of the Earth, so younger players might like this version better.
Cons:
* The gameplay isn't as challenging, so older kids will tire of this adventure game much faster than the first Ben 10 game.
* Some of the fighting sequences are repetitive and get old fast.
In summary, if you have a young child that loves Ben 10 go ahead and buy this game. Just use caution with older kids (ages 10 and up) who might not find the gameplay challenging enough to hold their interest.

May the (Alien) Force Be With You. Feb 01, 2010
By Tim Coogan
"CN fan"
Ben Tennyson's back and badder than ever in his new series "Ben 10 Alien Force". Now you can live out his adventures in the new "Ben 10 Alien Force" video game !
Join Ben, Gwen, and Kevin as they head out to new places - though some are familiar to the series' first season - and take down some new foes. You'll encounter new creatures great and small, but as Ben, you'll take them down no problem with 5 of your favorite alien heroes: Swampfire, Echo Echo, Chromastone, Goop, and Humoungousaur.
This game is somewhat familiar to that of the first Ben 10 game, "Ben 10: Protector of Earth", but you're now playing new alien characters, AND Gwen and Kevin, too ! There's also some new attacks and combo moves that you've gotta be quick on to take down the bad guys. But beating up baddies isn't enough; there are some parts in the game that require skill needed to solve puzzles and challenges in some levels. Also, use each alien form wisely, and you'll find some new secret areas with items that unlock new bonus content in the Database menu.
So if you're a fan of "Ben 10" and "Ben 10 Alien Force", this game is rather enjoyable. And look for more new episodes of "Alien Force" real soon on Cartoon Network !

My son enjoys this game. Oct 05, 2009
By Tyler Russell My son loves Ben 10 and thinks this game is lots of fun. He is 5 years old. I like that he can do it on his own. I think it is one of his better Nintendo DS games, but that is also because he enjoys Ben 10 so much. If you kid is a Ben 10 fan, and between 5 and 8 years of age, it is a good buy.

Excellent game! Jan 20, 2009

"Happy Grandfather"
I bought this for my 6-year-old grandson. He loves it. He quickly learned how the game worked and plays it frequently. It holds his attention.
Not for DS Jan 26, 2011

"Sam"
My sister loves this show, plays all the games. Got all these on the DS, and she says they're just not as fun/easy to play on the DS. They're much better on other systems (w/ controllers).
